IN MEMORIAM – JAN LOKIN (1945-2022)

The Dickens Fellowship is very sad to hear of the passing of Emeritus Professor Jan Lokin of the Haarlem Branch. Jan served as President of the Fellowship in 1992-1994. Jan was a Professor of Legal History at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands. The DF expresses its condolences to his widow – Pia Lokin-Sassen - and their six children. A fuller obituary will appear in a future issue of The Dickensian.
