The Annual Conference has an important role to play in the organisation of the Fellowship. However, the official business of any conference is usually disposed of in half a day and the rest of the time is devoted to lectures, outings and entertainment.

2012 Portsmouth, England In the bicentenary year the 106th annual conference was held in the city of Dickens’s birth, from 9th-14th August 2012.
2011 Christchurch NZ cancelled due to earthquake. A mini conference, the 105th, was held in Canterbury, England in July 2011
2010 Eastbourne, England The 104th conference of the Dickens Fellowship was held in Eastbourne from 21st to 26th July 2010.
2009 Cleveland, Ohio USA The 103rd conference of the Dickens Fellowship was held in Cleveland, Ohio.
