NEW EDITOR OF THE DICKENSIAN NAMED

The Dickens Fellowship are delighted to announce that Dr Emily Bell has been unanimously elected to be the Editor of The Dickensian in succession to Professor Malcolm Andrews with effect from the Winter issue 2021.

Emily is currently assistant editor of the Dickens Letters Project and sits on the editorial board of the Oxford Dickens Series, for which she is editing the later short fiction with Michael Slater. In 2019 Emily was invited to write a new biography of Dickens by Reaktion Books. Emily also edited Dickens After Dickens (2020) for White Rose UP.

Emily is currently engaged on a 4-year post-Doctoral Fellowship at Leeds University.
