DICKENS FELLOWSHIP COMMEMORATE THE ANNIVERSARY OF DICKENSS DEATH

On Friday 7th June the Dickens Fellowship commemorated the 149th anniversary of the death of Dickens at the annual wreath-laying ceremony at his grave in Poet's Corner, Westminster Abbey. The DF wreath was laid by our President, Professor John Bowen of the University of York. A wreath was also laid by children from Gad's Hill School. We are grateful to the Dean and Chapter of the Abbey for facilitating this event and to the Reverend Dr James Hawkey, Canon in Residence, for conducting it.
