ROCHESTER DICKENSIAN FESTIVAL

The annual Dickensian festival in Rochester, Kent took place over the weekend .  As usual, the suitably costumed members of the local branch of the Dickens Fellowship played a prominent role.
Several were interviewed on BBC Radio Kent and can be heard via this link - 1 hour and 56 minutes in.

They were joined on the streets of Rochester by Joe Pocock, one of the radio station’s reporters - also suitably attired. Joe wanted to experience how it felt to take part in Rochester Dickensian festivals; he spoke with members of the public and traders in the High Street.  Branch members taking place were Chairman Norman Munn, Secretary Steve Martin, Committee Member Nick Baines, Members Linda Jones, Dawn Howard and John Howard.
