West Norwood Cemetery Walk

The Friends of West Norwood Cemetery inform us that on Saturday 21st September there will be a conducted tour of monuments with a ‘Dickens Connection’ in the cemetery. We know that Dickens attended two funerals there – of his friends Thomas Noon Talford (1854) and Douglas Jerrold (1857). The monuments to these men will be visited as will those to, amongst others, Richard Bentley, George Cattermole, and Sir John Easthope.
